I CHEATED on my girlfriend with a woman who’s had a baby that looks just like me, but it’s my girlfriend I really want.

I’m a red-blooded male of 30 and my girlfriend is an air hostess. She’s 31. I love her but her job means she’s out of the country a lot.

I still have my mates and most of them are single. We go on lads’ nights out and if I get lucky, that’s fine by me. I was out with my friend at the beginning of the year when this girl came on to me.
She was pretty so we had some drinks and a dance. We then went and had wild sex in the back of my car.

She tagged me in some pictures from the club on Facebook and my girlfriend saw them. She went mental. I told her she meant nothing.
The same girl got in touch with me a few weeks later, suggesting a “weekend of fun” when my girlfriend was next away. She came over and we had an amazing time — but my girlfriend’s flight was cancelled so she came home early and caught us in bed.
My lover ran out of the house and left a bag of clothes, including a letter saying she was pregnant. I told my girlfriend it was impossible.
I’ve managed to keep my relationship going but last week my girlfriend looked up the girl I slept with on Facebook.
She has had a son who is the spitting image of me.
I see no future with this other girl. What should I do?
DEIDRE SAYS: Tell your girlfriend you’re sorry for cheating, that she is the woman you love, but you can’t walk away from an innocent child who could be your responsibility.
If this is your baby, you have a legal duty to support him financially and a moral one to be a good dad. That doesn’t mean getting with the mother – that wouldn’t work – but being involved in your son’s life.
